While we support all the browsers above, we recommend Mono users stick with Firefox or Chrome to avoid bugs when editing their site. Note that we do not support beta versions of these browsers.
No we don't. Mono makes it possible to create your own website easily without any needed technical skills. All files etc., are uploaded through our site editor and thus we don’t support FTP access.
The new skins are optimized for a 1024 resolution.
It is most likely that you have pasted text from MS-Word or heavily formatted text directly into the WYSIWYG editor. We recommend you use the Paste tools found in the top left area of the WYSIWYG editor to strip any strange formatting in order to display the text with the format/style of your website.
In other cases it could be your browser version that is causing some of the problems. We recommend you use the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari when working with your Mono site.
It may very well be your browser version that is causing some of the problems. We recommend you use the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari when working with your Mono site.
It could also be due to custom-added HTML or CSS. While Mono gives you the ability to use these functions, we do not support them directly so make sure you know your way around HTML and/or CSS if you choose to add them to your site.
Please make sure that the email you have written in the form is correct. Also check your spam filter to see if the mails have ended up there and mark info@mono.net as an address you trust.
Remember to refresh the page whenever you have published new changes to your site, otherwise an old version will show. To refresh a PC you can to press F5, on a Mac you can press cmd+r.
In the Mono editor go to Home > Dashboard and click the “Activate reporting” button. Mono does not activate reporting automatically so reports will first start to collect data once you've activated the reporting function.
After activating reporting to your website (see FAQ answer above), a "Reporting" tab will show in the top menu bar.

Yes! Feel free to change back and forth between the old designs and D4. It won’t affect your website content. But note that D4 modules won’t work in older designs (See below).
Unfortunately no. The new modules are designed to work with D4 designs only so you won’t be able to use them in older designs. If you have been working in D4 designs and put some of the new modules on your website, they will not work if you change back to an older design. Note that these modules won’t go away by themselves so you have to delete them if you change your design from a D4 to an older design. Otherwise you will be able to see them as grey fields once you publish your site.
Global Data is a feature in the Mono tool that helps you manage the content on your website. You only have to enter your general business data once in Global Data and relevant modules will be updated with information such as your address, phone number, email or company name.
If you want a complete overview of all the new features in D4 we recommend that you stop by our Mono blog for more insights. You could start by reading the article “In-depth look at D4 Design”. We will be updating the blog regularly.
You can easily use D4 designs without any knowledge of CSS. The Mono website builder is as easy to use as always. But if you know your way around CSS using D4 is a big advantage because you now can change everything since the design is made of 100% CSS.
Unfortunately you cannot make an easy upgrade to D4 if you have a V1 website (all websites founded before February 1st 2011). If you want to use D4 you have to create a whole new account on mono.net. We apologize for the inconvenience but V1 and all the newer skin designs including D4 are two different systems, so it is not possible to make a simple upgrade.
